About Course

Any incident of violence occurs in a series of five phases. The non-conflict phase, the conflict awareness phase, the pre-conflict phase, the conflict phase and the post conflict phase. It’s important to address and prevent violence at each stage, focusing on early intervention, conflict resolution, and promoting non-violent communication to create safer environments.

You will feel afraid when you are faced with danger and your mind and body may have certain reactions to this. It is important that you remain aware, be confident and take control of yourself as well as the situation so that you are able to disengage from your attacker and get yourself to safety without being harmed. In a dangerous situation, fear can cloud judgment and hinder rational decision-making. Learning to manage fear enables individuals to think more clearly, assess risks, and respond effectively to threats. This is essential for personal safety and can contribute to a better outcome in crisis situations.

Ultimately, fear is a natural and adaptive response, but understanding and managing it empower individuals to navigate life’s challenges more effectively, fostering both physical and mental well-being.
